COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course is ideal for emerging farmers, recent school leavers or even established farmers wishing to upskill themselves or refresh their basic knowledge of animal production to be applied in a wide range of agricultural practices.
REQUIREMENTS
Must have the following qualification levels or the equivalent knowledge of:
- NQF 1 Literacy and communication skills
- NQF 1 Numeracy
- Respond Correctly To Control Defensive Behaviour In Animals, NQF 2, or equivalent
- Observe And Inspect Animal Health, NQF 2 or equivalent.
DURATION
This qualification is a Blended Learnership and runs over 7 weeks . Candidates will need to attend 2 days of face-to-face/ virtual training (on average) as well as completing digital content During this time, learners will also be required to complete assessments per learning programme covered.
CERTIFICATION
MICT SETA will provide you with your Statement of Results, indicating the unit standard in which you have been found competent in this particular qualification. You will also receive a Statement of Results from Mogolo Academy Correspondence College. Your Certificate of Competence will be issued by MICT SETA.
