COURSE DESCRIPTION
This Qualification provides a framework for learners to develop competencies that will enable them to become competent in the Beauty and Nail Technology industry.It introduces some theoretical concepts, requires the application of a base of knowledge and requires a well-developed range of skills that will enable learners to be informed workers in the beauty industry.
The primary purpose of the qualification is to develop the foundational, practical and reflexive competencies required for a career in the beauty profession.
REQUIREMENTS
We offer a thorough pre-assessment process to align learners to appropriate qualifications and levels. Entry requirements for this qualification include:
- Communication at NQF Level 3
- Mathematical Literacy at NQF Level 3.
DURATION
This qualification is a Blended Learnership and runs over 12 months. Candidates will need to attend 2 days of face-to-face/ virtual training (on average) as well as completing digital content (Online Learning) each month. During this time, learners will also be required to complete assessments per learning programme covered.
CERTIFICATION
Further Education and Training Certificate: NQF Level 4 in Beauty and Nail Technology Certificate Learners who successfully complete all Portfolios of Evidence per study school will be awarded the full qualification registered with the Services Seta.
