COURSE DESCRIPTION

The primary purpose of this qualification is to develop in a learner, the foundational, practical and reflexive competencies required for a career in the Hygiene & Cleaning Services Industry.
Central to the qualification is the development of a culture of quality service and professionalism in a cleaning services environment. This qualification intends to produce cleaners who can find gainful employment in the cleaning industry.

REQUIREMENTS

• Competency in Communication (English) at AET Level 2.
• Competency In Numeracy at AET Level 2.

DURATION

This qualification is a Blended Learnership and runs over 12 months. Candidates will need to attend 2 days of face-to-face/ virtual training (on average) as well as completing digital content (Online Learning) each month. During this time, learners will also be required to complete assessments per learning programme covered.

CERTIFICATION

Certificate in Hygiene and Cleaning (NQF Level 1).Learners who successfully complete all Portfolios of Evidence per study school will be awarded the full qualification registered with the Services Seta.
