COURSE DESCRIPTION
The NATED N4-N6 Civil Engineering qualification covers levels N4-N6 and is designed to provide the theory of Civil Engineering and an optional practical component. This qualification consist of one compulsory part (N4-N6 theory) and two optional practical parts, and advanced (done between N4-N6).
REQUIREMENTS
- Senior Certificate (Grade 12); or N3
- National Senior Certificate (NSC) (Grade 12) or
- National Certificate (Vocational) [NC(V)] NQF Level 4
DURATION
- 12 weeks per certificate full-time
- 2 years practical experience within industry in the Civil Engineering field to apply for National N-Diploma
- Enrolment in January, May or September
- Part-time options are available
CERTIFICATION
Upon completion of this course, students will be awarded a Certificate of Achievement: N6 Civil Engineering from the DHET.
After students have completed this course, and submitted proof that they have gained 24 months of relevant practical experience, they will be awarded a National N6 Diploma in Civil Engineering (360 credits).
