Red Seal Trade test & Training

COURSE DESCRIPTION

This is the final assessment which will lead to you being a qualified artisan and attaining a red seal certificate from QCTO. It is conducted over 2 days. You are allowed up to 4 attempts. You will, however, be required to return to the workplace after the third attempt. However, at Mogolo Academy, we seldom see a third attempt as we ensure our candidates are guided as best as possible from the beginning, receiving the best advice and training programme. 

Our aim is to produce South Africa’s artisans, and this will be done with quality and thoroughness.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum three (3) years relevant work experience within South Africa and N2 certificate including relevant trade theory. OR
• Minimum three (3) years relevant work experience within South Africa and Relevant Engineering NC(V) NQF level 3. OR
• Minimum three (3) years relevant work experience within South Africa and Technical Grade 12 with Maths, Engineering Science and related theory subject. OR
• Minimum Eighteen (18) months relevant work experience within South Africa, completed of all relevant work experience modules and Relevant Engineering NC(V) NQF level 4. OR
• Minimum Eighteen (18) months relevant work experience within South Africa and relevant (directly related to the trade theory subjects) N6 certificate or National Technical Diploma   (S and N Stream)
• Minimum four (4) years’ work experience within South Africa with Grade 9 (Standard 7)
